I completely disagree on the first point. I think the last thing that Twitter needs is a “paid” version. Mainly because many people like Twitter because the fact that it’s completely free. Now about having Yahoo! or Google purchase it. I think it would be a great idea as long as people don’t have to see ads anywhere on Twitter. As again, many people like it for the fact that it’s ad free. I think that they should just take down the website for one week (I know, harsh), and while it was down for that said week, completely fix all fixable problems. I believe the week would be worth it to see a once again stable Twitter.

@Michael, just so you know: Ubuntu isn’t a platform, it’s a distro of Linux. Linux would be the platform.

Also, hopefully the initial release of Firefox 3 will fix the HTML 5 bugs so people will start including it in their websites. I think it’s sad that the Mozilla Firefox dev team is more worried about eye candy than web standard problems that should have been fixed in Firefox 2, and still aren’t working correctly in Firefox 3.

I use Firefox almost exclusively on both windows and Ubuntu platforms. Firefox has everything I need. Opera and Safari are OK but for me Firefox is the one browser to rule them all and in the darkness bind them. IE, is that a browser?

I have been using Firefox 3 since April on my Hardy Heron (Ubuntu 8.04) laptop, and it is spectacular. Safari is better? You must be joking.

Uhm, Firefox isn’t the safest browser, Opera is. Infact, if you completely remove ActiveX from Internet Explorer, it would be safer than Firefox aswell, seeing as even IE has less security holes then Firefox. Nice try though.

I beg to differ. Safari is better. YES, it does lack the add-ons, and YES, it runs a tad slower in opening streams. But dude…. its MUCH faster than Firefox. Its been proven. Period.

This does look like a very cool phone. I have to agree with you, that the shape would make it more comfortable on the ears. I like the black with red..that color combination is sharp.

This sounds really interesting. I’m going to download the ebook and find out more. Of course I’m always interested in free advertising. 3000 credits sounds like a good thing. If 3000 is good, what do I have to do to get 500,000? (smile) I’ll read the ebook. Thanks for the info.
